You do not need an existing follower count to publish, but you still need a realistic discovery path.
Search: answer an identifiable question
A searchable guide has a descriptive title, a direct answer and supporting examples. It may take time for search engines to discover and rank a new site, and ranking is not guaranteed. Group similar questions into one useful destination. Google cautions against thin affiliate pages that add little beyond merchant copy.

Short-form video: demonstrate the answer
Show the outcome visually, add clear context and invite people to a genuinely relevant long-form resource. Do not assume that every caption or comment provides a clickable outbound link; link features differ by platform and account status. Check the current publishing rules before planning a funnel around a link placement.
Communities: participate before promoting
Find a community that allows useful answers and follow its self-promotion rules. Answer the actual question first. A relevant resource may be helpful when permitted, but posting a referral link everywhere is not an audience strategy.
If you need a content format, use the faceless workflow rather than producing clips solely to redirect people.
Measure one channel at a time
For a modest experiment, record content produced, qualified visits, relevant clicks and questions readers still ask. Traffic that cannot understand the offer is not necessarily valuable. Compare actual performance with the time and expense required, not with dramatic income claims.
The tracking worksheet shows what you can measure honestly.
Earn attention by answering a small useful question
No existing audience is required to publish an answer, but reaching readers still takes distribution work. Start with a problem people can describe precisely: “my captions cover the button I need to demonstrate.” A written troubleshooting page can explain the screen crop, text safe area and export check. A short demonstration can illustrate the fix. The page and clip solve a task; neither needs a manufactured personality or an income promise.
Choose one main discovery channel for the first project. For search, make the page crawlable, descriptive and useful. For a video platform, demonstrate the result clearly and provide an accurate caption. For communities, read the rules, answer questions without link-dropping and share a resource only when it truly answers the request and the rules allow it.
Separate exposure from evidence of product fit
A clip receiving views tells you something about exposure, not whether a viewer wants to pay for a particular course. Search impressions also do not establish buying intent by themselves. Read comments for the next concrete question and compare it with the promise of your article. If the same correction is requested repeatedly, improve the answer before producing a new promotional piece.
Track source, page, publication date, reader questions and your own outbound-link clicks. Do not interpret a click as a confirmed sale; the merchant's reporting has different events and may involve delays or reversals.
A useful first distribution experiment
Publish one substantial guide, make one concise demonstration and participate in one permitted discussion around the same question. Record what each channel teaches you after a reasonable observation period, without setting arbitrary traffic promises. If people ask about another problem, add a section or create a distinct tutorial when appropriate.
The content calendar keeps the workload manageable, while the affiliate metrics guide helps prevent an optimistic reading of sparse data.
Draft one genuinely useful community reply
Suppose someone asks why text in a silent tutorial is unreadable on a phone. A good reply asks which editor and export size they used, suggests testing the clip at normal phone size and explains why captions can fall behind platform overlays. It offers a short diagnostic the person can use immediately. If community rules permit, a link to your fuller accessibility guide can be an optional reference—not the entire reply.
Compare that with posting the same referral link into ten unrelated threads. It does not address anyone's question, may violate community rules and cannot establish genuine buyer interest. Reputation is built by solving the particular problem in front of you.
Retain a log of recurring questions rather than personal profiles of commenters. If the same issue appears repeatedly, improve your relevant page and consider a demonstration. Do not mine private conversations for sales language or suggest that engagement guarantees paid referrals.
